There are cases when fire engines cannot get close to the site such as fire in crowded urban areas. In these cases, firefighters should come close to the site itself using fire hose. This brings firefighters in more danger especially in fire at chemical plants and factories. In addition, from the ground, there is a delay in extinguishing fire because the water cannon cannot easily access the origin of fire. Likewise, water discharge from helicopter is inefficient for small amounts of water discharge. Furthermore, in the new cases that occurred in the aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, decontamination drainage work was difficult because of the high radioactivity concentrations in the site. Thus, the current firewater discharge device does not fully meet the changed needs for extinguishing fire. Hence, we proposed the Unmanned Fire Fighting aerial vehicle to achieve a safe and continuous water discharge. In this paper, we designed a concept model to consider the required function and using scene and conducted a model experiment in order to analyze the flight characteristics.
