We have developed a bundled-tube in-pipe locomotive device. The bundled-tube device can perform travel in pipes with complicated shape. Since, this device consists of only tubes and does not need a complex control equipment, it can be produced inexpensively. Therefore we expected to put them into practical uses in the near future. The helical type of bundled-tube devices has a constant cross section and twist. Therefor in this study, we develop an extruder that can rotate its die with constant speed for the helical tube device. The extruded device can travel in a vertical and bending part of pipes with inner diameter of 28 mm and succeed to pass through a 5 m pipe with bending parts.
