Integration of living-body and machine need interface to connect them. In this study, we proposed concept of Living-body and machine interface. We designed the interface (Basic Interface Unit: BIU) which has flexibility, strong adhesiveness and biocompatibility. BIU can integrate living thing (living-body) and nonliving thing (machine) hierarchically. To construct model of BIU, we focused spheroids which had hierarchical structure of living cells and dead cells. We made spheroids with fibroblasts and confirmed the hierarchical structure by fluorescent observation. Additionally, we succeeded to remove cells from inside of spheroids. This result indicates that the possibility of creation of BIU model.
