Abstract

Our photochemical cell membrane perforation method is new approach for mass cell processing, eg. cell therapy or regenerative medicine. The method requires homogeneous control of cell attaching pressure of nano brush shaped cell membrane perforator which contains photosensitizer, but it was hard because almost the cell size are micrometer scale and its structure is weak. In this research, we developed a physical pressure homogenize mechanism for the method and the large scale operating instruments. The system is designed for cell suspension and the suspension is handled within a bag, so the cell membrane perforation process becomes easy handling and can reduce a risk of contamination.
