In recent years, the aging of infrastructure has become a problem. Structures are subject to rust and cracking due to aged deterioration, which is a problem to maintain. In this study, the surface condition of the long cylindrical structure is to be inspected. This structure needs to be checked at a high place, which is dangerous. Therefore, we are developing a high altitude inspection robot. In this paper, we investigated the influence on images under high illumination environment using solar irradiation equipment. In addition, the brightness values of the sunny area and the reflection area were compared in the survey.
