Research that aimed at energy saving has been developed as a single device. In automobiles, environmentally conscious research has been conducted from various perspectives on energy saving and fuel efficiency improvement. However, research and development that energy saving of mobile robots has not been developed much. Therefore, in order to enable energy saving of the mobile robot, it is necessary to create dedicated hardware capable of realizing energy saving operation mechanically and electrically. In this paper, we report the dedicated hardware design of a mobile robot that considers energy saving by using instantaneous power source and differential drive steering system.
