視線操作がラバーハンド錯覚に及ぼす影響

In general, experimental participants are asked to gaze at a rubber or fake hand when inducing rubber hand illusion (RHI). However, in our previous studies, some experimental participants have reported that the bodily illusion was easily induced if they saw the fake hand, which was moving synchronously with their own hand, in their peripheral vision. In this study, we performed a simple classical RHI experiment with manipulation of visual line with a target to preliminary examine how the obscuration of fake body due to peripheral vision affects the RHI.
