ロボットを利用したプログラミング導入教育

A robot that consists of a compact disc (CD) and an embedded microcomputer has been developed as a robotics learning tool for elementary and junior high school students. In this paper, we report about the robot were introduced to beginner programming students from universities and national institute of technology. A wide range of learners can simultaneously use the developed teaching-aid robot, as it enables its users to intuitively create programs. Additionally, this robot can be used in any environments where no PCs are available thus, learners can visit any location where they can use it.
