In Japan, the burden on wheelchair users and carers is getting bigger due to the lack of manpower of medical and welfare services accompanying the declining birthrate and aging population. Also, people who can not move the wheelchair by themselves will have a greater stress due to being unable to go out alone. This research aims to solve the burden on people who move wheelchairs and to eliminate manual labor shortage in nursing care facilities, research on wheelchair autopilot and row running. Report on the results of automatic follow-up experiment using a two-wheel independently driven robot, which is the foundation.
