The autonomous navigation of multiple robots for application in disaster and accident areas and services such as delivery is important topic. For the navigation, a robot should have map data to identify surrounding environment and the obstacles and plan the robot path. Then, sharing of the map data among multiple robots through access to common server (cloud) enable us to perform effective and practical operations of the robots. We have developed the new robotic cloud to create and share the map. The cloud consists of multi-stage database, and some processing such as outlier removing, and noise reduction are performed to the input data through the database. Finally, we can obtain the 3-D point cloud map constructed from a SLAM algorithm using the LIDAR data in the cloud as online data.
