A production of high quality nanoparticles has been an important role in many fields. In addition, a production system for generating uniform nanoparticles with a flow-type and a simple process has been required. By cooling crystallization process, a size of generated particle decreases when a cooling speed and a solubility difference of solution increases. The quenching of solution as micro droplets is effective for the nanoparticles generation. In this study, a microchannel device for quenching micro droplets generated in the microchannel has been fabricated and evaluated, and nanoparticles have been generated. Experimental results show that we have succeeded in generating nanoparticles in a system by generating and quenching droplets in the continuous process.
