In recent years, the importance of visualizing the physical distance between people has increased with the epidemic of the new coronavirus. Furthermore, the technology to visualize the physical distance between people is expected to be applied to many fields in preventing traffic accidents caused by contact between people and in measuring social communication with maintaining a safe distance. In this paper, we propose a position estimation method using received signal strength indicator (RSSI), describe a technique that enables people to estimate each other's positions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method by simulations and actual experiments. The position estimation was performed by calculating the RSSI values of the surrounding environment, with a human as a radio transmitter and receiver in a 3D model built to imitate the real environment, and simulations and experiments were performed by changing the shape of the environment.
