With the development of 3D printer technology, it has become possible to reproduce surface shapes. However, the methodology to reproduce the desired tactile sensation has not been sufficiently studied. In this study, we measured the surface shape of canvas and tried to reproduce the surface shape using a 3D printer. Then, we conducted a grouping experiment of the tactile sensations and evaluated the similarity of the tactile sensations using the multidimensional scale construction method.
