海中で使用可能な肘関節用アシストスーツの開発と持ち運び動作におけるアシストスーツの有効性の検証

In marine civil engineering work, when constructing a foundation of the breakwater, the foundation stones that were dropped into the sea are leveled by divers. To reduce the burden on the divers while performing leveling work, the purpose of this study is to develop an assist suit for elbow joints that can be used underwater. In addition, to verify an effectiveness of the assist suit for carrying work of heavy objects, experiments were conducted based on the measurement of surface electromyogram and expired gas analysis. The results of the experiments showed that the muscle activity of the biceps brachii muscle and energy expenditure of the entire body were reduced by wearing the assist suit. Thus, effectiveness of the developed assist suit for the elbow joints for carrying work of heavy objects was verified.
