One of the most important factors in the writing process is fingertip strength. Conventional methods have focused on the manipulation of tools, but there are few methods that focus on fingertip strength. In this study, we developed a practice system that adjusts fingertip strength by pulling a wire using a motor, aiming at a proficiency support system focusing on fingertip strength. We investigated the effect of this system on the process of proficiency in writing. The results suggest that the writing accuracy may be improved by the method in which the force is presented compared to the method in which the force is not presented.
