This paper describes a column lifting robot that can be used for both square and circular columns. Robots are required to inspect social infrastructure such as bridge piers and factory piping to prevent accidents from occurring. The goal of this research is to create a robot that can be used regardless of the shape of the column. To achieve this goal, we proposed a pillar lifting robot that is not restricted by the shape of its circumference, using a wire. An inspection machine was mounted on the pillar, and the condition of the elevation by the inspection machine was verified through operation experiments.
