In recent years, the spread of standalone headmounted display (HMD) has led to the utilization of VR/AR in various fields such as education, healthcare, and entertainment, and has also impacted remote work and virtual meetings. However, current HMDs have limitations in sensory transmission, particularly in their ability to provide strong haptic feedback. To address this issue, this study develops a new haptic feedback device utilizing the gyro effect, aiming to provide users with the sensation of physical interactions such as sword fighting and recoil. The device is equipped with a gimbal mechanism and can generate torque in three degrees of freedom. This paper discusses the implementation of the device and the results of its effectiveness verification.
