視覚および聴覚を利用したVR走行における他者の存在感に関する研究

Regarding the method of presenting the presence of others in VR, instead of the HMD (Head Mounted Display) used in the previous research VR multi online running system, we investigated where people perceive others in VR by using a large 75 inch liquid crystal flat panel display to present visual information and a bone conduction headset to present auditory information. For the experiment, eight conditions were created by combining elements such as the presence or absence of footsteps, the presence or absence of conversation, the way others’ avatars were displayed, and the way they turned their heads. The experiment participants were six men and women in their 20s.
