With development of the Honda LCA System, Honda has succeeded in quantitative assessment of environmental impact covering the entire product cycle, from manufacturing to disposal, as well as in establishment of goals for impact reduction. This has contributed to raising the quality of environmental improvement activities and reducing the environmental impact of Honda products and business activities. This report presents case studies on quantitative assessment of environmental impact in the life cycle of a motor vehicle and LCA studies on the environmental impact of each business division in all company's business activities.
