In this presentation, we propose a method to evaluate vehicle dynamics performance using automatic piloting system. In order to properly evaluate the performance of a vehicle, it is extremely important to drive with high accuracy. Combined steering and pedal operation with a closed loop automatic steering system composed of a steering robot, a pedal robot, and a driver model enabled automated piloting of complicated test patterns. In autopilot driving on the circuit, it tracked the pattern with the maximum vehicle speed of 80 km/h, the maximum longitudinal acceleration of 0.3 G, and the lateral acceleration of 0.5 G with high accuracy.
