In recent years, cargo transport robots have gradually been introduced worldwide, demonstrating significant efficacy in transportation and support services. It should be noted, however, that most of these results can be attributed to robots designed for businesses, and that examples of their implementation for the general consumer market are exceptionally rare. In the future, the emergence of consumer-tailored mobility solutions could unlock the full potential of these transportation robots, allowing them to benefit a wide range of people around the world. To address this possibility, we worked to develop a transportation robot that can reach not only the university campus but also nearby facilities. A user-friendly system was implemented to accommodate individuals from various backgrounds. After extensive use by various individuals, it has been confirmed that the robotics' efficiency is almost on par with that seen in the corporate sector. This positive result highlights the wider societal impact and usefulness of such technology, extending beyond corporate applications.
