It has been several years since the term “Fourth Industrial Revolution” by digital technology was first used, but due to COVID-19, the digital transformation is progressing rapidly worldwide. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is progressing in the medical field, too. Silicon Valley, where I work, is the origin of digital technology, and various innovators and entrepreneurs continue to tackle this corona disaster day and night to solve social problems. This report focuses on the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Silicon Valley and briefly describes how to bring about innovation and the benefits of digital transformation for medical care amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
