Ball-Screw are widely used in the industrial machines such as machine tools. Table Ball-Screw has low damping, which causes the chatter vibrations during machining or motion. In this study, the two-inertia-system with ball-screw driving system is analyzed, furthermore, a design by using Extended Parameter Plane Method, which can be applied to not only a semi-closed loop but also a closed-loop, is proposed. The experiments are carried out and the effectiveness is confirmed.
