The scattering of a test beam of charged particles in a turbulent plasma is treated with the diffusion equation of the velocity distribution function of particles in the beam. Characteristic quantities of scattered particles, the energy spread etc., are calculated using the parameter of the turbulent field. As an application, the expressions of the effective collision frequencies with various definitions are derived.
