Abstract
RIKEN BioResource Center (BRC) performs collection, preservation and distribution of Arabidopsis seeds, plant cDNA and plant cultured cells as a part of National Bioresource Project. Our major resources are as follows: Arabidopsis mutant seeds for transposon-tagged lines and T-DNA-tagged lines (activation tagging lines); RIKEN Arabidopsis full-length cDNA clones (RAFL clones); Plant cultured cells, including tobacco BY-2 cells and Arabidopsis T-87 cells, that have been preserved at RIKEN Plant Cell Bank. In addition, we are attempting to establish new lines of Arabidopsis cell cultures of high quality, such as embryogenic cells and suspension cultured cells. Researchers can search resources at our web site (http://www.brc.riken.go.jp/lab/epd/index.html) and can receive these resources by submitting Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) and payment for user fee.
