Abstract
The intestinal irrigation method by which ostomates can perform irrigation by themselves was developed．This method(a closed soft bag irrigation system)employs a soft plastic bag containing an isotonic sodium chloride solution,and irrigation is performed by pressurizing the soft bag by body weight in a sitting position．lt is possible to irrigation at any times and places of their preference without restraints,and privacy can be protected．Same with usual times such as at home or social life,no special facility for the conduct of irrigation may not be required even during times of disaster．
