伊勢型紙文様の画像データによるデザイン : 歴史的文様の現代における認識と活用(2)

抄録

Ise katagami is one of print pattern papers of traditional crafts, which had been prospered in Suzuka City of Mie Prefecture. In order to investigate the possibility of the re-use of Ise Katagami, some works were designed by using image data of Ise Katagami patterns. Some traditional patterns were applied to design patterns of office furniture, a computer, some related products and stationers. These patterns were processed by the image processing software on the computer. A cloth printer connected with the computer dyed some pieces of cloth for office furniture, and some patterns were applied to other products with transfer film. As results of these productions, the possibility of the re-use of Ise Katagami was confirmed.
