When we walk in a town, anytime we search for public signs, but many existing signs are inadequate to the handicapped. The sign design have to communicate necessary information effectively to people with diverse abilities. The purpose of this paper is a planning for the universal town signs, and designning toward to a pleasant environment. This planning of sign is based on the universal design. Perceptible information is constructed by different mode (pictrial, verbal, tactile, braille type)for redundant presentation of essential information.
