This paper aims to investigate the consciousness of museum's employees in responding the mutual relation between museum and local residents. The result can be outlined as follows : (1) The locals have a great intent to participate in local activities, but they have a little intent to participate in museum's activities. (2) Even though almost all of the locals agree to participate, but they seem very cautious if they were asked to be practically participate in the museum's activities. (3) The relation of museum and locals has several problems, such as : the lack of awareness towards museum at the locals side, and the lack of employees or facilities, and financial difficulties at the museum side. Based on these results, the relation between museum and locals needs to be prioritized for improvement.
