挿絵にみるフィラデルフィア万国博覧会の日本の出品物 : ザ・デイリィ・グラフィック誌の挿絵を中心に

抄録

In this report the Japanese exthibits from the Pbiladelphia Intemational Exhibition of 1876 visible through nine illustrations froin the newspaper of The Daily Graphic published on August 8,1876 are examined by the floor plan and the pictwes taken in the Japanese section in the Mian Building at the Exilibition. Some illustrations are able to be found out their exhibit place, and be kuown their identities. We could also know that illustrations from newspspers were drawn as well as they had realities, because they were media informed actual scenes. We would get more imformation of Japanese exhibits from this kind of illustrations, when we examine with the other materials.
