Background and peculiarity of Law for Town-center Regeneration which have enforced in 1998 in Japan was discussed. Since the law enforcement, 89 of Town Management Organizations were established to improve environment and economic vitality of town-center in many local cities. We appeared that the experiences of TCM in U.K. and BID in U.S.A. have made base of this law. Matizukuri Aizu Corp. was formed in 1998.7 as TMO in Aizu-Wakamatsu city. Through of a case study on the TMO, we found out some subjects to be solved : 1 strengthen of staff power for planning and coordination, 2 establishment of the economical foundation, 3 strengthen of propaganda for inhabitants.
