The purpose of this research is to propose the preparation guideline of the signature sound of a POS system. Authors announced that scanning sound and the screen operation sound as "the height of the sound", "the length of the sound", "a melody, that constitutied of a score" and "the tempo" that were suited to environment sound. The change that breaks out from the impression evaluation of signature sound was found by the influence of environment sound.
