In ubiquitous computing era, smart devices, which comprehend and interpret user's context precisely, are in dispense able to compose smart space. Currently, context-aware technologies are rapidly developed for this purpose to gather the information, such as temperature, humidity, density of light, and movement and used for computer to predict user's need and respond correctly. That is to say, These technologies are the methodology, which use the interaction of contextual information and link between user and service. The categorization and the application will be the main stream for the smart home design, which is based on the ubiquitous computing. This study purposes the introduction of technologies, based on the context-awareness and the anticipation of the design method in general, composed of sensing technologies, networking technologies, multimedia technologies, and software agents in smart home environment.
