Research of communications in virtual community by investigation of emoticon

Abstract

E-mail and SNS came often to be used for communications in daily life by the development of the information society. Recently, a lot of emoticons are used by communications of literary words. The emoticon was an expression of the Paralanguage from the beginning as understood from the history. The emoticon is inserted in sentences. And, the Paralanguage is given to sentences by the emoticon. Communications in a virtual community might be able to be done more smoothly by the development of the emoticon.
