Abstract
This paper extracts the features and the problems of research objects in design domain (design) and engineering design domain (engineering design), and clarify new design methodologies to solve the problems, by conducting a comparative analysis from the viewpoint of “Multispace Design Model”. Consequently, this paper revealed the features and the problems of research objects in both domains, and in addition, predicted the necessity of simulation technology and the sensory evaluation test. Moreover, this paper proposed a new design framework to realize the integrated design.
