Abstract
The drawing process of still-life drawings and sketches of 10 university students who study design were compared. It was confirmed that excellent still-life drawing skills quickly grasp the three-dimensional shape of an object and excellent sketching skills quickly grasp the conceived three-dimensional image. The results suggest that there are differences in the recognition and expression of the three-dimensional shape in those with excellent sketching skills and those with excellent still-life drawing skills.
