Designing method by using “Human-Centered Design” and “User Experience Design” properly.

Case study of co-creation project of the Tohoku University of Art and Design and NISSAN MOTOR Co.,Ltd.

Abstract

Tohoku University of Art and Science and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. tried a new design method using Human-Centered Design (HCD) and User Experience Design (UXD). HCD and UXD are often used interchangeably. In this project we used them as a dare to different things. As a method to efficiently design cars with many considerations, we used the viewpoints of HCD and UCD, respectively. In this paper, I will report the contents using this method with the students.
