Abstract

This study examines the evolution of Taiwan’s aesthetic education from skill-based art training to systematic design thinking since 2013. Focusing on the Central Regional Hub (NTCU), we analyze the 13-year progression: the establishment of the "1+6 Framework," localized translation through traditional crafts, and the democratization of design thinking for non-experts. Quantitative data shows an impact on over 26,000 students. The study concludes that aesthetic education serves as an objective science, bridging the cultural gap from past subjectivism toward civic design literacy.
