LETSMath/GeoBlock (GeoBlock for short) is a prototype of a tool for learning geometry. It was designed according to the concepts of (1) manipulating geometric structures under geometric constraints and (2) constructing blocks. A block is constructed to correspond to each complicated figure that is under geometric constraints, and it can be changed, re-used, and observed interactively on the computer's display. A control-point-oriented geometric model manipulates the geometric structure under constraints and realizes the operation of blocks. GeoBlock is a new tool that helps students to discover rules and assimilate theorems, and allows teachers to create and show teaching materials easily and efficiently.
