We, engaging in paper industry, have invariable and common aiming of manufacturing “good paper”.
The definition of “good paper” is argued from among quality, pricing and both points depending upon its circumstances.
Now in this paper, one of the technical factors during paper making is described.
In the case of operating Fourdrinier paper machine, the hydraulic behavior of stock on the wire is considered as one of the most crucial factors of paper making. However, it is impossible to grasp those phenomena precisely through our naked eyes. Even those quickly-passed and non-reproducible phenomena can be grasped more scientifically and more concretely in the so-called static phase of 1/30, 0001/50, 000 second.
Those photos together with various operational data, test data of paper properties & surface roughness, photos of two sidedness, photos of fiber orientation & distribution and basis weight/moisture profile, are analysed in the panoramic view, which are considered rather effective method for self-consultation of operation.
