In this study, focusing on the Japanese style houses which were constructed as owned house on Qing-Tian street in Japanese colonial period, the interview for the Japanese who had lived there in the period and the Taiwanese residents who are living in the houses was conducted. In addition the more the additional interview and measurement to confirm the consideration by them were conducted and the transformation of these houses are analyzed from Japanese colonial period to present.
