Students remodeled old dwelling units variously. This variety showed the possibility for the multi-purpose use of dwelling units, and it will become one technique for the refurbishment of existing housing estates. Japan Housing Corporation constructed the RC rahmen frame residential buildings, mainly in the second half of the 1960's. The purpose of this research is to confirm the possibility to utilizing those old residential buildings as house stock. And the assumption that the RC rahmen frame residential buildings in those days ware very useful was suggested. It is useful for recycling-based society to develop a system for reusing construction debris.

This paper empirically clarifies effects and problems of application of municipalities’ ordinance about development permission. As for article 34-12 of City Planning Law, effects about rationalization of development permission procedure are recognized but as for 34-11, enough effect, which was the keeping of village population, can’t be acquired. In some examples much more developments than initial forecast have been occurred by deregulation of 34-11 ordinances. To set appropriate area-divisions and building uses for permitted developments along development pressure level in each city is necessary. And public involvement for area-division is also important in order to train up mutual relation with administrative sector against maturity of villages in near future.

Semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) such as di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) have caused not only chemical sensitivity but also asthma. SVOCs in indoor air exist in the form of a single molecule (gaseous phase) and adsorbate on airborne dusts (particulate phase) because of their low vapor pressures. However, their partitioning method was not well-established. This study attempted to quantify the partitioning of DEHP in gaseous and particulate phases using a diffusion tube by generating airborne Kanto loam dusts with an ultrasonic atomizer. As a result, it was suggested that DEHP vapor could be adsorbed on the surface of airborne Kanto loam dusts in the manner of Langmuir-type adsorption isotherm under the specific conditions.

Those of the openings were classified into 6 types in ground floor and second floor respectively. Modeled contemporary houses were analyzed by CFD from the viewpoint of indoor airflow and CFD analysis confirmed the significant correlation between averages of opening ratio and indoor airflow.
