Abstract

Purpose of this research is to discuss the long-term living by elderlies in temporary housings after the Great East Japan Earthquake by analyzing about follows; 1) the mechanism of construction and demolition of the temporary housings, 2) the connection of lives between temporary housing living and reconstructed housing living and 3) the effect of support center in the long-term temporary housing. It is suggested the system of supporting elderlies for their decision making should be very important and more choices should be prepared since in the 8-year long temporary housing living phase, many conditions have been shifted.
