Abstract
Canine tracheal cartilage was stored in frozen state was used as sustaining material to correct the droopingear. It had been collected aseptically and prevented from contamination by placing in physiological saline containing an antibiotic.
A piece of cartilage was inserted into the auricle in such direction as to form a right angle with the broken part of the auricle. Two or three pieces were required for a severe case.
