Abstract
In life sciences and biomedical domains, a number of databases have been made available publicly. The Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) have developed various systems to integrate these databases based on the Semantic Web technologies, in which the Resource Description Framework (RDF) and it’s query language SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language (SPARQL) are used. Based on these technologies, the integrated semantic genome database, TogoGenome, and it’s visualization modules, TogoStanza, have been developed. To visualize arbitrary graph structured data from RDF/SPARQL, I developed MetaStanza as a generic framework using the d3sparql.js JavaScript library, SPARQList REST APIs, and the TogoStanza framework. In this article, details of the MetaStanza and RDF datasets currently available in life sciences and biomedical domains are reported.
