Recently a gas-turbine system is observed as an energy system which can be adaptive to alternative energy resources and to strict energy standards. But its combustion process is complex, so there is no optimized design process. So an aim of this research is numerical prediction of turbulent combustion flow with a large eddy simulation (LES) which can help optimized design of a gas-turbine system.
Development of high-efficient and clean combustion equipment requires the analysis of turbulent premixed combustion and a high quality flame model. For analysis of complex and unsteady interaction of turbulence and combustion flame that is important for industrial applications, we developed a numerical simulation based on a turbulent large eddy simulation and G-equations based on the flamelet concept. We apply to simplified test chamber and show the results of visualization of turbulent vortex structures and flame actions.
