The aerodynamic characteristics of 2-bladed wind turbine rotors with Savonius turbines instead of conventional blades were studied through the observation of small models. The rotors with 3-bucket Savonius blades reversed their rotational directions dependent on wind speed. Size of the model did not affect to the characteristics. Whereas, the rotor with 2-bucket ones kept the rotational direction.
