Abstract

EGW is used for vertical position of ship fabrication. Welding Heat input of EGW is completely different with base plate thickness. To decrease heat input, FCAW + EGW combination process are applied. FCAW took high heat input made by EGW. Impact properties of FCAW weld was investigated.
