抄録

In the previous study, it is possible to achieve defect-free weldment. However, there was a marked decline in mechanical properties, because of martensite transformation which is induced by high peak temperature during process. In the present study, FSW was applied to K55 API-grade steel maintaining low temperature during process by controlling welding parameter and then microstructure and mechanical properties of the welds were examined.
