SST is one of the most popular turbulence models widely applied in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations of the atmosphere boundary layer (ABL) flow issues, especially for flow around large-span structures and cluster of high-rise buildings. Numerical rough wall turbulence simulation is important in many applications in industry problems and environmental problems. This paper adopted the SST models to computationally simulate the rough boundary by special treatment and extracted mean wind velocity and turbulence quantities based on the calculation results. It showed the CFD simulation results by comparison of the flow quantities profiles with several different locations in the flow domain. The mean wind velocity, turbulence quantities give well agreement at different positions. Also the problems still unsolved and suggestions to mitigate that are discussed.
